It snowed today morning
at round about 4am...
I was half asleep,
but I kept the curtain aside,

I heard it falling...

By morning, it stopped snowing,

but there were ice on the floor!!!

I MISSED CLASS TODAY!!!

My goodness, the last time, 

I missed the appointment with the nurse,

because I overslept, and had class!

Today, I went for the appointment,

BUT I MISSED CLASS!!!

I remembered the wrong time!

AAAAAA!!!!!!!

Thus, I'm punishing myself...

It's Japanese class after all!

I always feel guilty when I miss classes...

Remembrance

Walking along the street

Rushing to meet Jin Rong

The bus turned another way again!

Gosh, I just don't understand the buses here!!

I walked around the Grainger street, 

and saw soldiers standing and waiting to fire the canon.

That was an unexpected scenario.

What's the occasion?

I continued to walk...

Then, the canon went off.

Suddenly, I realize, as I was walking...

Everyone froze, 

I thought it was my imagination, 

I continued to walk, 

there were very few people walking,

most were standing like statues, 

the whole street went quiet.

All I had in mind was,

WHAT's GOING ON???

It was SCARY!!!

The second canon sounded after about two minutes, 

that's when everyone started to move again.

Wow, there must be a certain occasion.

I found out that it was remembrance day.

A day to remember the soldiers who sacrificed themselves.

Let us remind ourselves

 that there is another person who sacrificed himself...

For US!

Jesus died on the cross for us, because he LOVES YoU and mE!

Thoughts

I had an interesting weekend...

On Saturday, 

I went to look at a flat and a house.

Then, headed to my friends house for dinner.

Got lost, it's really hard to talk about direction,

when your surrounding looks exactly the same.

It was an all girls night, quite fun.

Then, we missed the last bus, and had to take another

but, with that one, we have to walk a distance before reaching home.

I'm feeling tired now, haiz...

Anyway, today... I had my first holy communion service in England.

I ate bread, and drank wine.

Remembering that Jesus died for us...

I love the church...

For some reason, it makes me feel very emotional.

The first time I went, all the songs made me cry...

Today, I was holding back tears...

Jesus' death felt very real...

That's about all I have to share today....

I have to do my assignment, and then read the textbook 

before I can do my homework. Sad >.<

Halloween

In the darkness of the night without the moon

I walked along the path between trees and bushes

The night was still

I quickened my pace as I heard rustling noises

There was nothing that would have caused that.

My boots sounded loud against the ground

I turned back, conscious of my heart beat

finding no one behind me.

The wind blew all of a sudden

I walked as fast as I could

imagination running wild

expecting ghosts and monsters to jump out from the bushes.

It was Halloween after all.

I was on my way to the bus stop

I spotted a Superman from afar

All my fears were gone now

I stifled a laugh

So, as we waited for the bus

I spoke to Superman ^^

I didn't get his real name...

I saw a group of children walk by

They were holding pumpkin lanterns

but not too dressed up

I was heading to church

How ironic.

As I walked along the paths of the city

I passed by monsters...

They really did come out after all

But they were far too tame to be monsters

obviously!

It was an interesting sight

Too bad they don't celebrate full fledge Halloween

But, I would have gotten a heart attack 

from all the monsters roaming aroundif they did!

So, I reached church, and we had a nice

praise and meditation night...

Where is God in your life right now?
